Poor Oral Health Conditions May Be Passed from Mothers to their Children, …
According to the results of a 27-year study, mothers with poor oral health conditions might have children that will suffer poor oral when they become adults. The study suggesting this possibility took place in New Zealand; it involved nearly 1,000 children that were born in the country between the years 1972-1973. The results strongly suggest that mothers with poor oral conditions have a high probability of suffering tooth loss and tooth decay.
