A new course geared towards the maintenance of dental implants is going to take place next November in Leicester, UK. The course is directed towards dental hygienists and will be carried out at the Ivoclar Vivadent International Centre for Dental Education, (ICDE) Leicester.
The implant maintenance course is organized by Ivoclar Vivadent. It is also receiving support from a number of companies such as American Eagle Instruments, EMS, Kerr, Optident and Philips Oral Healthcare.
The main objective of the course is discussing the essentials of implant care and the maintenance procedures of the surrounding soft tissues. The course offers its attendees 6 hours verifiable CPD. It will include various lectures, hands-on training sessions, and videos to demonstrate the latest trends in implant maintenance. Attendees will also use different techniques for implant maintenance on models.
Registration is required for attending the course. The cost is £95 including all course materials, lunch and refreshments.
