According to a recent study initiated by the British Dental Trade Association, dental patients in the United Kingdom would like to see better communication with dentists in regards to the available dental treatments. The involved population of the study said they are interested in knowing more about the current dental treatment options.

The study showed that 88% of the involved population was happy with the dental care services provided to them. 46.6 % of this section said they were extremely happy, while the other 41.8 % were fairly happy.

The main section of the involved population said they selected their current dentists based on word of mouth. The same percentage also said they favored certain dentists if they were recommended by a relative or a friend against new dentists.

Meanwhile, 59% of the study population said they were able to handle the fear of dental procedures if the atmosphere in the dental setting was friendly and relaxing. The study was presented to 1,500 general public members by Bray Leino. The latter is a leading market research provider.
